Both teams have decided to donate half of the prize money to their partner organizations, further amplifying their positive impact.

A League for the future

The League's inaugural season proved a resounding success, fostering a supportive environment for women to play, learn, and lead.

The League's founders, Majken Gilmartin and Marie Hansen, are grateful to Detroit City FC for their partnership and to Madeline Miller, founder and CEO of NexTiles, for sponsoring the $2,000 prize.

Excited to welcome the amazing Detroit Dames, Solidarity Sirens, Mantis Shrimp, SIS, and Ball Kickers to our inaugural season!

This Saturday, March 30th, NextTiles is proud to sponsor the exciting final game of Detroit's first-ever Impact League!

NextTiles will be donating the $2,000 prize money to the winning team. Join us at the Detroit City Fieldhouse from 4PM.

“As a group of women and non-binary athletes we are invested in creating spaces for people of any gender to enjoy soccer. As players in the local Women’s Plus organization, we plan to fly and expand access to free or low-cost soccer for women and non-binary players.”

Detroit City FC Hosting the first Impact League in the U.S.

LaLiga and EIR Soccer join forces to promote the sustainable growth of women's football.

The two organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), through which LaLiga has offered consultancy services to support the League globally.

Team Keepers win first Global Goals League in Jordan

10 teams. 17 Global Goals. 102 female coaches living in Jordan from the Eir Coach Program. The first season of the Global Goals League has come to an end. Final match day was Friday November 25th in Amman, Jordan.

From World Cup to weekly impact: How 7,200 players inspired a league that rewards sustainability

The Impact League is a women’s 5v5 league redefining what it means to play with passion for the planet. The league is a new sports category that tracks the positive actions that the teams make for all the 17 Global Goals.

The concept and league format grew out of our longtime Global Goals World Cup tournament and feedback from more than 7.200 players from across 17 countries.

Our mission is to create a unique sports experience for our players through an innovative play method, empowering game days, and connecting them to a global activist network.
